SCHOOL...

I am lost here... how do parents decide which school to send their kids...especially when you are in an hulu place...I am eyeing between Krista or Little Caliph...but just cannot decide....HELP!!!

Krista... nearer to my house and office...

Little Caliph... out of the way...but Islamic...

Is it a good idea if I send E-an to Krista next year since they accept 3years old and Little Caliph when he turns 4 years old?

1 thing for sure, E-an will go for music class after Hari Raya Aidilfitri and drum class next year.  Mengaji will start as soon as possible or at least in Ramadhan, hopefully we will learn a lot together.  Thank you to my friend,Safura who inspired me to teach mengaji at home.  If she can do it, I can do it.  Praying E-an can sit still... hehehe...

Allah, permudahkanlah usaha kami.  Amin....

KIDZANIA & PETRONAS KLCC SKYBRIDGE + PETRONAS KLCC OBSERVATION DECK

We went to Kidzania on Friday, 25 May 2012.

Kidzania on AirAsia Turbine Engine

My family came from Ipoh as a congratulatory present to my niece Damia
(in pink, she's tall for an 8 year old gal) for getting 1st place in her exam.  Congrats kakak...
All on board ...
Kidzania show off pose

E-an's first pit stop which was also his favourite stops... Disco/Karaoke.
Disco/Karaoke... hmmm...

Nobody taught him...  I only realized this when my sister told me, how does he know to position himself with the stool and piano... another clear evidence music is his forte...
Self-explored...

E-an wanted so badly to go on those, but he is not tall enough to get the driving license...
Look E-an, it's Kakak Eyaw and her wheels...

Damia and wheels...

The next day, we went to KLCC Skybridge.  Opah could not tolerate the altitude.

After that, we went to Level 85 KLCC observation deck. Coolness... and HOT,
but still you have to experience it...

Petronas KLCC Level 85 Observation Deck... some of us gave up with the altitude...

Kacang Keras

I bought this last week in Puchong...Rm2 each and RM5 for  3packets.  Taste wise...OK...just OK...hmmm... just finished it :p

When I was in high school, my friends and I ate kacang keras besides our main food.  We also mix the kacang keras with laksa, nasik lemak etc etc etc.  Some of us have kacang keras under the table to be eaten in class...during class hour that is...and according to them it is to say bye2 to their sleepiness which I could not agree less :)

I seriously cannot remember the price, but sometimes the uncle would come and we would buy directly from him at the entrance of the canteen that is before the kacang keras reached our makcik kantin.  There was no difference in the price, but the uncle presence was like Shah Rukh Khan coming to us...hahahaha... If for any reason there were no stock, the makcik kantin would be asked over and over again...tak de lagi ke kacang keras, makcik...hmmmm I wondered what happened to our beloved makcik kantin.  I could still remember when he FOUGHT with pakcik kantin when he wanted to marry his girlfriend I heard.  Scary...

Anyway, what I miss most is the combination of kacang keras with sirap limau...yummmmmy...you should try, but get the best ones of both.... burp... excuse me... heheheee...

MY HAPPY FAMILY

Our latest photo during my cousin's wedding,
Jazmin - Dzul in KB, Kelantan...
adding more Kelantanese to our clan :)

Oh my...it's May...mid May already!!! Birthdays of my two boys...not only the two of them, but the others in my family...from end of May to mid of June.  Han will in Kota Bharu, Kelantan a lot these few months for work purposes. My family from Ipoh is coming end of May for Kidszania... Looking at the brighter side, we will have more celebrations...one with Han and one or more without Han.  He does not really mind, at least that was what he said last night because he is not really into birthday celebration which is so different from me.  I value every moment giving birth to E-an, so the celebration has to be equal :) Hehehehe... just finding reasons to celebrate.  I have been celebrating birthdays like forever, it is very important that a slice of cake would do.  I also have sisters and friends who really appreciate our birth days, you know who you are.  Bisou bisou and I miss all of you.

Speaker's Corner...

I just like to talk. Pot Pet Pot Pet...hahaahaha... public speaking...emceeing...debating... when I was in school I even represented Rumah Temenggong (Green) for Pantun Competition... My good friend, Ima would write all the pantun and I presented it during the competition.  We combined our expertise...she with her pantun and me with my confidence in speaking...

The latest project is to have a Speaker's Corner in UniKL MIAT.  The dean has suggested a place where we will turn into a garden.  It doesn't have a name yet,so I call it Laman Nurul Ain...ahakssss... Anyway I really hope it will help students and staff to boost up their confidence in public speaking.

Yesterday we had a competition and it was a good start.  Congratulations to Firdaus, Arun and Izzat ; all from 3BME1 for winning and the others THANK YOU for participating.  My committee members THANK YOU for your contribution.U guys ROCK. Earlier... on Wednesday we had Pidato Competition... like WOW some of the students sounded like politicians.  Hidden talent is like a treasure hunt... when you found it, soooooooooo satisfying :-)

The Speaker's corner is not only for English, it can be for Pidato, Mandarin,Malaysian Studies, Islamic studies,Technical subjects, students election manifesto launch and many many more. The rule of thumb is... eeerrrr... apa yang penting...KERJASAMA... to make this happen many many years in the future.  Insya Allah...
