Ipoh-Kuale-Tepen...

It was the last of school holiday and after HFMD, we decided to bring E-an and my niece Damia to Taiping Zoo.

Once, we reached Kuala Kangsar, we went to Pak Ngah Laksa Restaurant.  Congratulations that they have opened an air-conditioned restaurant.

Then after that we went to Mak Yong's house. The more the merrier, we invited my cousin niece, Chor Uzma to tag along.  To continue our journey, we took the old road to Taiping.  We stopped by our so called 'Kampung'.  My... I really miss this house.

Then I asked Han to stop at this new signboard, when I grew up it was not there.

Further up, this was where we bought ais kacang.  The more seniors ones would walk, but I was not allowed to join because I was too young according to my mother.

Not far from here, I stopped by my good friend's house, Azira's mom's house to visit her  latest addition, Adam.  She was still on Maternity Leave.  Very frustrating, I did not take a photo because I stopped for less than 10 minutes and was struggling with E-an whom did not want to leave as he got really attracted with the mini go-kart.  E-an and his car obsession.  LOL.  Sorry Yaya for the kelam-kabutness!!! heheheee...

Then, we reached Taiping Zoo.  We took the train twice.  See how E-an and my sister were really happy.

This was taken after our first train trip. One BIG happy family. Cute elephants as the background :p

Time to say Goodbye.

The others in the family came from Ipoh (except for my Mom who was tired) to have dinner at Mak Jah's in Kuala Sepetang.  From the faces, you know it was a good dinner.

We had FUN... Alhamdullilah, I am blessed with good company, good food and it was all in all a good trip.  I would prefer the Night Safari though, but the children might fall asleep.  Next trip, Insya Allah.

AHMAD RAYYAN AHMAD RAZREEHAN

Mr. Cheeky, I would call him. My less than 2-year old boy... the only one we have for now...hehe.  He is full of energy!  Talkative and loves to sing.  He even hums his own song! Alhamdullilah... a healthy boy, what else a mother can ask for.  I still cannot believe that I am a mother... hehehe...

I really like this photo (with my beloved Mak whom he calls Opah) because of his Awan Nano hair which we had to cut.  I did not agree though because the hair made him different from the others.  Now I guess everyone agrees that I am right.  You might be wondering what happened to his nose... he fell down in Ipoh when he was tailing Opah to the kitchen.  He just woke up, but very anxious to follow Opah.  Anyway, I soooo cannot wait for the hair to curl back and would like to send him to a talent agency.  Hahahaa...mummy is very ambitious. Well, like people said everything starts with a dream.

E-an is what everyone calls him.  The name is adapted from hitz.fm DJ, Tengku Ian aka Ean.  It was during my confinement, we went out to Ipoh Town and I saw the hitz.fm billboard :-)   To differentiate, I put a dash in his name.  Looks more catchy... Branding is so important.  I am happy that he now can call his own name confidently, cannot wait for him to be able to write his own name.  Ya Allah, may my son's handwriting is as beautiful as his soul.  Amin.

There are so many stories to tell about him, too many actually... but the main thing is E-an sayang... Daddy, and Aaaamy (that is what he calls me!) love you more than words could describe.  May Allah always be with us. Amin.

P.S. - Just cannot wait to celebrate his 2nd birthday on 20 May 2012... over la Mummy... ahaks

HFMD

Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease... very common for children who go to nursery.  Since E-an goes to a babysitter, I thought a slimmer chance he will get it.  I read in the newspaper and my niece, Damia got it when she was in kindy, so I had very basic knowledge.  Alhamdullilah we managed to control HFMD from E-an since we sent him to the hospital early... could have been earlier though, but all rooms were fully occupied.  With the basic knowledge my husband and I had, we would panic if it was really bad.

It started of with a fever.  The dangerous part with this fever was, it does not have anything in between.  It is either too hot or too cold.  One minute he could not move and another minute he was jumping up and down.  Then his mouth was slightly swollen.  Saliva increased, at first we thought another tooth coming then my mom who E-an calls Opah suspected ulcer and she managed to find one.  That answered why he wanted to eat, but could not and sadly he shrunk.  Then his mouth was badly swollen.  When we went to the doctor again two days after that, they decided he should be warded.  This was when the paediatrician, Dr. Arbaiyah of An-Nur Specialist Hospital, Bangi was in the picture.  She found (by force, of course) 5-6 ulsers waiting to burst in E-an's mouth.  In less than 10 minutes she suspected HFMD. The next day spots on his body appeared and then CONFIRMED HFMD.  To my surprise, there is no medication for this, so I asked HOW?  Everyone told me, it will go.  Then we as in Han and I, surfed to learn more about HFMD.  I spoke to my friends who have experienced it (TQ Emi Marina and Siti Raidah) and I got the same answer, it will go. As I am writing, we are still waiting for the spots on the body to go :-)

The best part was, we could eat ice-cream... hehehe...and the nurse reminded me of another option that is yogurt.  E-an has always liked yogurt, but he has never eaten ice-cream this much before... yum yum yum...

Everyone was asking where he got it from.  I know it is not from the babysitter's house since the other children are A...OK, well maybe just normal fever.  I thought because he has been very friendly that he liked to lay down on the floor or ground whenever he felt like regardless we were at a shopping complex, hypermarket etc etc etc... I know that HFMD is air borne.

jeng... jeng... jeng... Later I learned from Rizal, my good friend, Safura's husband... we sent our children to the same babysitter... he told me that opposite the babysitter's house, her grandchild had HFMD, but surprisingly they would happily go for their evening brisk walking. Alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmaaaakkkk (E-an's favourite expression)... with that I rest my case... uhuks...

Weddingsss...

My son got HFMD which I will write in another post.  I am on the way back to Ipoh if incase he needs to be quarantined.  Now, I would like to share my excitement on my cousin, Jazmin with Ajoe weddings in Ipoh (end of April) and KB,Kelantan (early May). SISTERHOOD :-)

ILU 10...we named ourselves after a Tamil or Hindi,I am not sure but I know it was produced from the India film industry which stands for I LOVE YOU. Why 10?Of course not I LOVE YOU 10x...hehehe...10 because there are 10 of us; Ej, Wa, Azie, Yaya, Ima, Ijan, Elin, Fara, Nur and Ain(that's me....ngeee).  We were close (not from the same class) since we were in Form3 (1993) alamak, now you know my age... hehe...and we are still standing strong together... at least in our hearts.

Whatever happens, the end of the day, these are the people we look for,we turn to (well at least to any one of us )just to find comfort. We have to admit that some point of our lives we were LOST and we kept a silent from each other, but we knew ILU was there waiting to save us waithout judging us...well if anyone judged us, we just ignored.  Ignorance has also saved ILU loads of times. Any one would tell you,it is unhealthy, but whatever works.Maybe because of this, some people tried to be ILU 11 or ILU 12, but we know it has always been and will always will be ILU 10.

Now, we are successful in whatever we do best.  We do not need an award from the Queen of England to know that we are successful :-) Besides that, TQ technology for keeping us together.  With the commitment that we have, I cannot remember when was the last time all of us gathered or which and where was our photo taken with enough corum.

We will be celebrating our 19th Anniversary on 7 September 2012 which is also my birthday...ahaksss, so gals we should make sure next year we will color the town red, a grand celebration for my birthday, eh our Anniversary... hehe...we will turn 20... oh my it has been a long journey.

To ILU... I LOVE YOU yesterday,I LOVE YOU today and I LOVE YOU tomorrow...bisou bisou (kiss kiss in French)

chop!!!

I wanted to have this blog like forever.  I finally started yesterday when I was waiting for the system to save my students marks.  Alhamdullilah better late than never...

Well being myself, FORGETFUL which is better than forgetfool... hehehe... I left my HP in the car.  Though I belong in the Generation X, I just suffocate everytime my HP is not with me.  Worst of all, my tablet... battery went flat, so my HP has gone jalan-jalan to KL and Damansara with my husband and I am stuck in Jenderam Hulu.

Got to stop here as I have to key-in more marks. Chioa :-)
